Special Guest Speaker NRA President David Keene WHAT: A day to lobby the state legislature on gun rights. Call your Assemblyman and State Senator to make an appointment to meet with them in their offices. WHEN: Thursday, February 28 starting at noon. WHERE: Capitol Park, next to the Legislative Office Building (LOB), 198 State Street, Albany.

The Federation will have a bus leaving from the parking lot in front of Gander Mtn. in Middletown, NY GANDER MT. PAKING LOT LEAVING: 7:30 AM ARRIVE ALBANY: 9:30 AM 10 TO 11:45 MEETINGS 12:00 NOON SPEECHES ON THE STEPS 1:30 PM RETURN TO ORANGE COUNTY 3:30 PM ARRIVE AT PARKING LOT. TICKETS $25 NON REFUNDABLE ANY MONEY NOT SPENT ON THE COST OF THE BUS WILL BE DONATED TO THE NYSRPA LEGAL DEFENSE FUND. (You can pay using a PayPal account or your Charge/Debit card.) The bus will have a bathroom but we will not stop to eat.
Please bring something to eat for the trip back to Orange County.
Dress nicely, no all camo, no vulgar signs.
You will be going past a check point with metal detectors.
No guns, mags, speedloaders, knifes or any other "weapons" allowed.

THIS IS THE TIME AND THIS IS THE PLACE.

     Every year members of the Federation travel to NY State's capital, Albany. It is there that we meet with our representatives to discuss laws and regulations, both current and proposed, that will impact or activities. NY State imposes many fees, taxes and regulations on our activities by both laws passed by our representatives and by state government departments like the DEC. It is import that we are represented and our voices heard.

     Seating on the bus is on a fist come, first served basis and preference is also given to people who are a member of the Federation or a member of one of the clubs that belong to the Federation. Unaffiliated people can also go as long as they agree with the goals of the Federation and topics will be limited only to items on the approved agenda. We normally can always find another seat and have never turned anyone away.

     The annual Lobby Day and Rally brings together many people, clubs and groups from across the state and is coordinated by the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association
